CCAP College and Career Access Pathways Informational Meeting for families and students

Seniors! Order your cap and gown - build your own package with tassels, cap and gown and announcements. Students have an option to borrow a cap, gown, and tassel for graduation.

Hoover Robotics club is hosting an E-waste recycling event this Saturday, 8:00am - 3:00pm, in the front parking lot. What can you recycle? Anything that plugs in or uses batteries! Even the batteries and the cables can be recycled at this event! Christmas lights, too! There will also be paper shredding and data destruction (shredding hard drives) for a small fee.

Hoover High School had plenty of community helping hands with our food distribution efforts through the Hoover Market this week. We had the pleasure of hosting Feeding San Diego, the Mesa Foundation, and the SDSU men’s basketball team. They were welcomed with open arms, toured our gym and Sports Medicine facility, and learned about Hoover’s role as a food distribution site for the community. Thank you staff, students and partners who made welcome to our Hoover Community on our campus. Hoo-Ryde!

Mariachi Cardenal will be performing a special Día de Los Muertos concert at the PAC on November 1 at 6 p.m. Concessions will open at 5 p.m. We invite you to come support our talented students and enjoy an evening of wonderful music. This is our first fundraiser, and the students have been working hard in preparation for the concert!

​Hoover Music Department’s Fall POPs Fundraiser Concert! The event will be held on Tuesday, October 29th in the Hoover Performing Arts Complex, tickets are $5 for students and children, $8 for adults. Help support our program’s spring travel opportunities!

The Great California ShakeOut (10/17 at 10:17) is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safer during big earthquakes: "Drop, Cover and Hold On." The ShakeOut has also been organized to encourage you, your community, your school, or your organization to review and update emergency preparedness plans and supplies, and to secure your space in order to prevent damage and injuries. https://www.shakeout.org/california/whyparticipate/

HOCO Spirit Week is coming! Oct 7th-11th! It’s gonna be FIRE, a BREEZE to dress up, so get down to EARTH, don’t miss out & SEAize the day with all of your Cardinal PRIDE!

September 5th we have a home Varsity Football game (7pm), as well as a home Varsity Girls Flag Football game (5:15pm). Our double-header game theme is “Party in the USA.” We are asking attendees to wear Cardinal Red, white, or blue in support. Come out and support Hoover Athletics! We appreciate your support in promoting Hoover Cardinal Spirit!

San Diego Unified’s cell phone policy prohibits personal cell phone use in class and during the school day, with some exceptions related to lessons and other circumstances that require adult supervision. High school students are permitted to use cellphones during their lunch period.

Hoover Schedule Preview Days for 2024-2025. Get a look at the courses you will be taking in Fall 2024 and speak to your School Counselor

This summer, we will be hosting the incoming 9th graders for our Annual Summer Bridge event. As part of the two-day event, students will take a tour of campus and preview their schedules. Prior to the tour and schedule preview.

Mission Bay High School is excited to host your student for summer school. Summer school begins on June 12th and ends on July 12th. There is no school on June 19th, July 4th, and July 5th. Classes during the school day run from 9:30-1:25 Monday-Friday.
