Information and updates I want to ensure you’re aware of:
COVID-19 Group Contact Tracing Notification Letter
With the elevation of positive COVID-19 cases across all schools, District Nursing and Wellness has instructed all principals to provide the following notification letter to their school communities. To access the letter, please CLICK HERE.
Vaccination Van Clinic - Thursday, 1/20
The COVID-19 vaccine van will be visiting Hoover on Thursday, 1/20 from 8:30AM – 5 PM in the front parking lot. Additional details below (and found on Nursing & Wellness Website):
1) Open to students, staff, parents, and community.
2) Anyone over age 18 can walk-in for a vaccination.
3) Hoover students younger than 18 can get vaccinated without a parent/guardian present
by completing the UCSD parent consent form: ENGLISH, SPANISH & VIETNAMESE
4) Non-Hoover students younger than 18 will need a parent/guardian present.
5) Boosters WILL be available for 12-15 year olds
Finals Bell Schedule -Thursday (1/20) and Friday (1/21)
Our “Finals” bell schedule will be implemented this Thursday and Friday. Students will be given the option to leave campus at the end of 4th period (1:40 PM). Lunch will still be provided after 4th period. To review our bell schedules, please CLICK HERE.
FREE COVID-19 Tests
The federal government is offering each household up to four free COVID-19 tests. To quickly apply, please CLICK HERE and complete the simple questionnaire.
2nd Semester - Student Schedules
The second semester begins next Monday, January 24. Students can now access their second semester schedules through their student portal account.
