Graduation Press Box Online Auction Fundraiser

The Hoover Foundation is auctioning off four Press Box Suites for the 2024 Graduation! The Cardinal Suite can hold up to 15 guests, while the Home Suite, Visitor Suite, and Media Suite can hold up to 10 guests. All Press Box Suites are private, shaded, and will be decorated for the event. The auction ends on 5/31/24 at 11:59pm. Winners will be notified the following Monday. Please note that winning a Suite is in addition to the 10 allotted guest tickets!

Coach Carey Miller

Cardinal Family, It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Carey Miller. He passed away on May 15th, 2024. Carey was a devoted husband, father, friend, coach, mentor, and colleague. With all the emotional pain and stress, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Carey’s family to help with any funeral expenses. It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Carey’s family in your thoughts and prayers. Varsity Jackets on Sale

Varsity Made is a local San Diego company, they will be set up on campus during lunch 5/14 to showcase their unique lettermen jackets. They come with lots of upgrades including personal touches of pictures on the inside of the jacket. They are offering $75 off for our students. Parents are also welcome to come by on the 14th or! Lastly, for every three sales from Hoover, Varsity Made will donate 1 jacket to an deserving student at Hoover!

United Champion School

This year Hoover was recognized as a “Unified Champion School” for our Unified physical education class and unified sports through Circle of Friends. Over the past few months students of all abilities participated in flag football, soccer, basketball, and kickball. Also, Saturday May 4th at Eastlake HS, we have a unified track team competing for CIF. This program is sponsored by Special Olympics of Southern California

College Signing Day 2024

IMIN ARC Amplified Event

April 20th, 2024 is the Annual IMIN Arc Amplified Event and it is at at Hoover High School. Schools from in and out of San Diego will gather here to showcase their student’s many amazing talents from 10am-3pm. It starts in the front quad and moves to other locations on campus!

3rd Annual Golf Tournament

The Hoover Alumni Organization and Hoover Foundation are hosting a golf tournament in support of programs for students currently enrolled at Hoover High School. All net proceeds from this event will be used to provide athletic programs, scholarships and support for special academic clubs at Hoover. June 1, 2024 the 3rd Annual Hoover Cardinal Golf Tournament will be held at Admiral Baker Golf Course.
