Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reimbursable school meals are available for ALL students at no cost
  • Menus are subject to change due to supply chain constraints and/or staffing constraints.

Meal Service Details

  • Breakfast
    • All elementary schools will be serving breakfast, either before or after the morning bell. Some middle/high schools may be offering an on-campus nutrition break, in addition to the before the bell breakfast.
  • Lunch
    • Ready-to-eat, hot lunch is available for all students free of charge. Only one meal per student. To be free of charge, students must take a full, reimbursable meal with the appropriate three out of five meal components, one of which must be a fruit or veggie component. Students will come to the cafeteria (or café carts at secondary sites) to pick up their meals and then walk back to their outdoor eating space. PIN numbers will be required for all secondary students.
  • Supper
    • Ready-to-eat supper is available for students participating in Primetime/21st Century programs.
  • Will schools continue to offer take-home meal bags to all students? 
    • All meal bags have been discontinued and will not be served to students. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily at ALL school sites, as well as a hot or cold supper at select and qualifying schools.
