Come oin Mariachi Cardenal for our Mariachi Festival. we are excited to share that the Mariachi program is organizing the first-ever Mariachi Festival in our district. This event will take place at Hoover on March 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

It’s that time for Hoover Community Corners! Students, families, staff, and community partners are invited to connect, ask questions, and share ideas to strengthen our school. Join us in the Hoover Library on Wednesday, February 4, from 2:20–3:00 p.m.

Hoover Community: The Great Kindness Challenge is taking place January 26–30. This week is especially meaningful to us at Hoover as we join schools across the community to intentionally spread kindness!

Hoover families, Adult English classes begin at Hoover High School, Thursday, Jan. 22 - June 1, 2026. The Spring Adult ESL classes start on January 22nd, Monday through Thursday from 6-8:30 p.m. Beginning and Intermediate English, open enrollment. Free childcare ages 2 and older. Incoming 9th grade students from Wilson and Clark are invited to join Hoover students and staff for the day! Meet Principal Carrillo, see our Marching Cardinals and Cheer teams, receive an ASB Welcome, plus learn about our Athletics Department. Lunch will be served

Hoover High School has one of the premiere Army JROTC programs in the nation with our teams competing at national level competitions. In December we had 54 cadets compete at Sweetwater High School for a regional Drill Team competition.
