Wednesday, May 14th, Hoover High School proudly participated in the annual San Diego Unified School District CCTE)Showcase, a vibrant event that highlighted student innovation, collaboration, and community impact. Students from SABE, AHHC, and AOIT presented their impressive Project-Based Learning (PBL) projects, sharing real-world solutions and creative work they’ve developed throughout the year. Their presentations demonstrated not only academic skill but also the ability to solve problems, work as a team, and communicate with confidence. Hoover’s ASB and Community Schools teams shared the impactful work being done through the Hoover Pantry, a vital resource supporting food security on campus. Students from the Empowering Entrepreneurs program also presented their ventures, showcasing how they're turning big ideas into real-world change. The event was made even more special thanks to the incredible catering by Hoover’s Culinary Arts students, who worked alongside other district culinary programs to provide delicious food for all guests. Finally, Hoover ASB students served as the official student ambassadors for the event — welcoming guests, guiding attendees, and representing our school community with pride and professionalism.
