On Saturday,May 17th the Hoover Symphonic Band traveled to Universal Studios to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival. After a wonderful performance in the morning and an enjoyable day in the park, they were privileged to find out that they earned a SUPERIOR rating from both judges, which is the highest that a band can receive. Not only that, but they placed FIRST in their division, and were also awarded the BEST OVERALL HIGH SCHOOL BAND from the entire day. These students and their Band Director Mr. Miller worked SO hard for this event, and represented our program, school, and district so well!
